Elena Homeister

Elena Homeister, an associate in Orrick's Berlin and Moscow offices, is a member of the European Corporate and the Russia Practice Group.

Mrs. Homeister advises European, international and Russian clients in cross-border transactions relating to the Russian Federation. Recent representative transactions on which Elena Homeister has worked include the following.

• Represented an Austrian developer in connection with the sale of an office center in Saint Petersburg to a Russian federal state enterprise.
• Advising a Russian developer in connection with the sale of a business center in the center of Moscow to a German real estate investment fund.
• Advising a global investor in connection with the restructuring of its Russian participations and the planned acquisition of a stake in a fishing company in Vladivostok.
• Advising HSH Nordbank AG (Hamburg) in connection with a financing transaction relating to a warehouse and logistics complex in the Moscow region.
• Advising the Viking River Cruises Group in connection with several corporate restructuring transactions, including the reorganization of the security structure for its Russian and Ukrainian vessels.
• Advising a German company in connection with its activities in the automotive sector in the Russian Federation, including the proposed sale of its Russian subsidiaries.
• Advising Immofinanz Group (Austria) in connection with the financing and acquisition of several commercial real estate objects in the retail and logistics sector.
• Advising a U.S. smartphone company in connection with the introduction of its groundbreaking innovative smartphone in Germany, France and the United Kingdom.

Before joining the firm in 2011, Elena Homeister worked for three years at White & Case in Berlin and Moscow.
