Mr. Michael Bogati, an of counsel in Orrick's Düsseldorf office, is a member of the Employment Group.  Mr. Bogati focuses on all aspects of employment law with having a special focus on and experience in works council co-determination rights, restructuring measures, operational arbitration committee proceedings and cases related to collective bargaining agreements.  He also advises with regard to aspects of corporate transactional work, and has comprehensive experience in collective and individual employment law litigation.

Due to his long history with the Gothaer Insurance Group, a major German insurance company, Mr. Bogati has build experience handling employments matters in the insurance sector.  Mr. Bogati advises on employment law issues for major international clients, including Coca-Cola Germany.  Further, he advises several companies in the steel and metal industry, such as the Zapp Group, Wickeder Westfalenstahl and Schmolz+Bickenbach, a world market leader in several special steel branches.  Mr. Bogati’s additional clients include companies in the fashion, IT and PR & marketing sectors.

Before joining Orrick Hölters & Elsing, Mr. Bogati spent three years with Luther Menold, the law firm associated with Ernst & Young in Germany.
