In the area of state aid law, Orrick Hölters & Elsing counsels in particular regarding the application for state aid and the structuring of state aid measures to ensure compatibility with the Common Market. One focus is the representation in court proceedings, in which the public bodies or a competitor of the beneficiary seek to ensure the recovery of illegal state aid.
